Tinny Rally is a 7-day downriver adventure, built into a 9-day event so everything actually works.

You start upriver.
 You finish downriver.
 And yes — we get you, your car, your boat, and your crew where they need to be.

We’ve built the rally so you don’t have to spend months working out maps, fuel, camps, pubs, parking, shuttle logistics, breakdown plans, or recovery options.

You bring your boat, your crew, and your gear.

We bring the structure.

Day 1: Arrive, check in, meet the crew

You arrive at the start line, go through screening, check-in, and the welcome briefing.

That first night is simple: boats, crews, sausage sizzle, river legends, and the first taste of what you’ve signed up for.

Your boat goes in the water and is monitored by security until you leave.

Your car does not stay at the start.

Day 2: Cars go downriver. People come back upriver.

This is the part everyone asks about.

Because Tinny Rally is a one-way river trip, your car needs to be waiting for you at the finish.

So we make that happen.

You drop your car at our dedicated off-site parking area near the finish — usually a secure farmer’s paddock style setup arranged for the rally. 

Then our charter buses bring everyone back to the start line.

It becomes part of the adventure.

You’re not just sitting on a shuttle. You’re travelling with the other crews, stopping along the way, checking out towns, grabbing a feed, and getting a feel for the country you’re about to travel through by river.

By the time you get back to the start, your boat is waiting and your car is already at the end.

No second vehicle.
 No mate doing a 12-hour rescue mission.
 No nightmare logistics.

Day 3: The rally begins

The next morning, you head downriver.

From there, it’s your adventure — but it’s not unsupported.

You’ll have the Book of Dreams, your rally guidebook, showing the day-by-day river plan, stops, camps, pubs, locks, fuel points, and options along the way.

You don’t need to plan every bend of the river.

We’ve already done the hard scouting.

You still choose your own adventure — but you’re not guessing blind.
