SMALL BOATS. BIG ADVENTURE.

Tinny Rally is a self-reliant small-boat expedition built around exploration, camaraderie and making your own way.

You prepare your own boat, carry your own gear, navigate, camp and solve problems as they come.

We provide the framework and support.

You do the adventure.

THE ROUTE IS NOT THE RALLY

You can take a few mates and run the river yourself.

But the Rally is what happens when a whole field of small boats takes on the same mission at the same time.

Crews spread out during the day, make their own decisions and deal with whatever comes up.

Then the field comes back together — at pubs, fuel stops, camps and sandbars.

The route matters. The people make the Rally.

ON YOUR OWN. NOT ALONE.

Tinny Rally isn’t a guided tour.

You navigate, camp, make decisions and solve ordinary expedition problems yourself.

But you’re moving as part of a bigger field, with Rally communications, mechanics, sweep boats and road support around the event.

That balance is deliberate.

On your own. Not alone.

SMALL BOATS ARE THE POINT

The humble tinny is part of what makes the Rally work.

Small boats are simple, accessible and limited enough that preparation, fuel, weather, weight and judgement still matter.

You don’t need the biggest or most expensive boat.

You need a prepared one.

Small boats make the adventure bigger.

THE MOVING COMMUNITY

Over a week, strangers become familiar faces.

A breakdown becomes a group effort. A pub becomes a Rally stop. A campsite becomes a temporary little river town.

People help each other, take the piss out of each other and keep moving.

That shared experience is a big part of what makes Tinny Rally different.
